Dimetrodon grabs a stranded Diplocaulus
Dimetrodon is often considered a dinosaur, but it is really in the lineage of strange creatures that are on their way to becoming the ancestors of mammals.  The skeleton is at the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History.  The model was made and rigged in 3ds Max, and uses a video background.
